Definitions AGRIS: International System for Agricultural Science and Technology; CAP: Common Agriculture Policy; CTS: Cattle Tracing System; IAEG: Inter-Agency and Expert Group; IFAD: International Fund for Agricultural Development. Livestock is covered under the following definitions: Poultry - All other birds: N16 (e.g. guinea fowl, ostriches, game birds). Sheep & Lambs - Ewes intended for further breeding or slaughter: M1 & M4 (ewes and shearlings present on survey day that have produced lambs in the last 12 months). Ewes intended for first time breeding: M7 (female sheep not previously used for breeding but that have been or will be put to the ram this year). All farmed deer: P10 (deer kept for breeding, meat or other foodstuffs, skins or other by-products, or as breeding stock for these purposes - excludes parkland deer). Other livestock - Include donkeys, mules and hinnies; does not include cattle.
